On Sunday, 17th August 2025, the ‘KESWICK GAMES’ Family Fun Day will be held at Fitz Park, Keswick from 11am to 4pm, featuring free children’s sporting events, BBQ at the Keswick Cricket Club, and traditional games. Teams of six can compete for a £100 prize. No booking required; everyone is welcome.

Led by experienced coaches Katy Winter and Georgia Beresford-Smith, sessions occur every Wednesday for £8 monthly. Two categories cater to different skill levels, promoting confidence and engagement among participants in a supportive environment.

Mark noted their innovative campaign inspires positive change, while Co-Founder Martin expressed pride in the team’s dedication to training youth in a supportive environment. Martin McCarron, Co-Founder and coach of BEE UNIQUE FC, received the Coach of the Year award for his significant contributions to the SEND community. He dedicates time to coaching, organizes special events, and promotes pan disability football. McCarron emphasizes teamwork and creating a supportive environment for all players.

BEE UNIQUE FC held a successful training session at Whitehaven Rugby Union for Under 8’s, 12’s, and 16’s, promoting a non-rigid environment for players of all abilities. Coaches emphasized inclusivity and fun, recognizing outstanding players with awards. The club invites new members to join weekly sessions at 5:30pm on Wednesdays.

BEE UNIQUE FC organized a successful Pan Disability Tournament during the Eat Street Cumbria Event at ST BEES, featuring various age groups. Children enjoyed their first matches on a new inflatable pitch. All players received medals and trophies, thanks to Keltbray’s support. Coaches provided valuable time for skill development, fostering an inclusive environment.

BEE UNIQUE and EAT STREET CUMBRIA hosted a successful weekend event at St Bees featuring an inflatable park, football tournament, colour run, and various food vendors. The local community came together for good food, music, and fun. Gratitude was expressed to volunteers and sponsors for their invaluable support in making the event possible.
